As the year is quickly drawing to a close, most of the team at MG got together to celebrate what a great year it’s been for us as a business in Manchester City Centre last week.

We started off the evening at Escape Hunt Manchester followed by a fabulous meal at Mowgli Street Food in the Corn Exchange. A number of our consultants work remotely across the UK, so it is always nice to have as many of the team present together at one table and what better occasion than to join in with the Christmas festivities!?

Looking back over the past 12 months, the team has changed quite a bit and we now have a solid bunch of highly trained, dedicated staff to take the business forward into the new year. We also welcomed two new babies into the fold with Administrator, Daniella Hurst, giving birth in May! We look forward to welcoming her back in the new year.

Our new lighting service has flourished and we received our first related planning approval for a site in Preston. Senior Environmental Consultant, Phil Walton, heads up our lighting endeavours and has written a case study on this, you can read this under ‘Lighting Projects’. He is keen to add more project wins to this in 2024 so keep an eye out.

As usual, we have made a donation to the Bolton Lads and Girls Club (BLGC) instead of sending out Christmas cards this year. We joined them at the annual Bolton Beer Festival again in October and it was a wonderful success, thank you to everyone who joined us and hope you enjoyed the afternoon raising money for a well-deserving charity.

All that’s left to say is we hope you have a very merry Christmas for those who celebrate and a hugely prosperous new year. We look forward to working with you all again in 2024.
